Air Arabia 'committed to Emiratisation'

Air Arabia, a leading budget carrier based in Sharjah, said it has a strong UAE national work force including management staff, pilots and technical teams and is committed to Emiratisation.

The UAE airline, along with its affiliate, Sharjah Aviation Services, is taking part in the upcoming "Careers UAE 2011" expo in Dubai to recruit local talent.

Open exclusively for UAE nationals and HR practitioners, Careers UAE 2011 expo will  kick off tomorrow ( March 21) at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The three-day expo will be open from 10am to 6pm and the visitors will be able to speak directly with representatives from Air Arabia at their stand.

"Air Arabia remains committed to recruiting local talent in the UAE. Already, a strong proportion of the airline’s management staff, pilots and technical teams are UAE nationals," the company said.

"As the UAE’s economy continues to grow, UAE nationals have incredible opportunities to join young and dynamic companies such as Air Arabia and Sharjah Aviation Services, one of the largest employers in the region," the Sharjah carrier stated.
